I got so many compliments when I wore this cute Free People dress. It’s a sexy blazer mini dress so it would not be work appropriate. It is chic & perfect for a party or going out for cocktails.Something I did not notice in the stock photos is that the material has a very subtle all black pattern. The pattern is not noticeable in most lights or even at a distance because it’s literally black on black. The pattern is maybe snakeskin print?The black material is not show through. It is very light and silky, so it would be good for a temperate to slightly cool evening with tights, IMO. I personally don’t wear silky material with sleeves if it is hot, because I don’t find that type of material breathable. However, I can probably wear the dress in the wintertime, as there is enough room underneath to layer, such as a lower cut thermal, with leggings.I would say this style is TTS if you want a loose & drapey look, as on the model… keep in mind this is a mini dress with a side slit. I probably could have worn an XS, but I was afraid it would be too short so I went with a small. I wear XS-S in free people for reference & am glad I went with the small for this style.Depending on your figure & how loose the material drapes, the V may be low cut. I like that you can add a bralette, cami, a thin lace bodycon shirt, etc, underneath for a pop of color. I wore this with a hot pink lace Free People bralette & a matching beret hat.
